This event is designed for pupils aged 16+ (e.g., S4, S5, and S6 level) who are considering a career in mathematics, finance, or data science.
This free online session will cover:
- What an actuary is and what they do
- Why being an actuary is a great career choice
- Where actuaries work and the diverse opportunities available in this field
- Exploring how to think like an actuary in real-world scenarios
- An overview of the degree programmes that we offer at Heriot-Watt University for pupils interested in actuarial science, data science or mathematics.
