On Sunday 18 August, the Maths Week Scotland team will be at Edinburgh International Book Festival. Come and say hello, and make some origami animals with us.
We will be joining the National Museums Scotland learning team, who invite you to explore some amazing animal objects within their handling collection! Get hands on to find out how heavy an elephant tooth is or check out the razor-sharp teeth inside a shark jaw - a fun chance for families to learn all about the fascinating world of animals!
There will also be a pop-up sensory tent for those who appreciate a quieter experience.
We love a good dice game! If you travel with some dice in your pocket, you'll never be bored, there's so much you can do with them. Today's game Threes Away requires five dice - you'll also need to think strategically, and it encourages number recognition too.
