Careers Hive

National Museum of Scotland 28th Oct-1st Nov 9.00am-4.00pm Free

Careers Hive is a weeklong event by Edinburgh Science which offers S1-3 students a new way of looking at their futures by allowing participants to explore different career pathways and roles across multiple sectors. Visitors have the chance to get hands-on with a range of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) activities and meet early career STEM professionals, who are on hand to answer questions and share their career experiences.

As S1-3 reach the point in their education where they choose their subjects, Careers Hive works to showcase that STEM skills are transferrable and further studying STEM subjects will help their future careers in a wide range of sectors.

Careers Hive is a 2 and a half hour experience that is completely free for state schools, with a public open day on Saturday 2 November.
