David Smith - Meet the Author Live Session
As part of our Maths Week Scotland celebrations, were excited to host an online author event with David Smith, the author of "If the World Were a Village." He will be leading an online session on Friday, September 27th between 09:30 - 10:30am.
This session is being hosted as a collaboration between Data Education in Schools and Maths Week Scotland, Scottish Borders Council and supported by Education Scotland.
This event is designed for P5-7 students and will feature an interactive workshop with David Smith. His book, "If the World Were a Village," presents global population statistics in a compelling way by imagining the world as a village of 100 people, making complex concepts easy to understand.
If you are interested in attending please register via the link below and joining details will be emailed to you ahead of the event alongside any resources that are required to participate in the live lesson.
