Maths in the Museum (Fife)
Explore old Scots weights and measures in our historic weigh house where the produce of this busy agricultural community was weighed and measured in days gone by.
Find out the difference between an Ell and a yard, or a Firlot and a Gallon. Discover how many Lippies were in a Peck or why a Scottish Acre was bigger than an English Acre.
The museum is open Wednesday to Sunday, 10.30 am till 4pm. Last entry 3.15pm.
Admission is free, but donations for the upkeep of the museum will be gratefully received.
