Number Berries is excited to welcome all young mathematicians (ages 5–12) back to Maths Play Club starting Saturday, September 13th!
With the school year kicking off, it’s the perfect time to reignite a love for learning and what better way than through fun, hands-on, creative maths activities?
Expect afternoons full of:
Colourful and active maths challenges
Games, puzzles, and brain teasers
A chance to practise, play, and learn something new
Friendly faces and loads of encouragement!
When: Every 2nd Saturday of the month (Sept–Dec)
Where: Oxgangs Library, 343 Oxgangs Rd N, Edinburgh EH13 9LY
Who: Children aged 5–12 + parents/carers
Why: Because learning maths should be joyful! Let’s make maths magical this term – come along, get stuck in, and take on as many challenges as you like!
Maths Week Scotland is back for 2026 with the theme Maths Matters. To celebrate our tenth year, we will have an extended gala week running over two weekends, from Saturday 19 to Sunday 27 September.
It is almost time for the RSPB Big Schools’ Bird Watch – the largest citizen science project for schools across the UK. Sign up to take part, from 6th January- 13th February 2026.
