Officer Buckle and Gloria: Safety Concepts and Maths with a STEM Ambassador
Join us during Maths Week Scotland for our Stories and Maths with a STEM Ambassador online sessions! Each of the week's sessions will be hosted by a different STEM Ambassador and highlight a different story.
Join STEM Ambassador Caleb Eghobamien as he reads from "Officer Buckle and Gloria" by Peggy Rathmann, a fun story that introduces key safety concepts. He will be connecting the story to his role in ensuring safe designs and environments, and will also explore how math plays a big part in what he does, from measurements to problem-solving in real-world projects.
Ideal for P4-P7.
There will be a 20 min presentation followed by a 10 min Q&A with you and your pupils.
Free but registration required. Sign up via the link below.
