The Maths of Alice in Wonderland: Stories & Maths with a STEM Ambassador
Join us during Maths Week Scotland for our Stories and Maths with a STEM Ambassador online sessions! Each of the week's sessions will be hosted by a different STEM Ambassador and highlight a different story.
Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll is a classic tale set in a land of nonsense. Join us down the rabbit hole as we discuss what Alice tells us about the maths we are learning, how we think, and find out how maths lets us see inside your head.
This live online session is geared towards primary pupils (~P4-P7) and is hosted by the STEM Ambassadors in Scotland team with Dr Michael Stringer, Stroke Association Research Fellow and Lecturer in Medical Physics at the University of Edinburgh.
There will be a 20 min presentation followed by a 10 min Q&A with you and your pupils.
Free but registration required. Sign up via the link below.
