Holiday Countdown 2023 Highlights

Countdown 2023 Roundup Header

Before we disappear for a break over the Christmas and New Year holidays, we wanted to say a big thank you for the great response we have once again had to our holiday countdown. We have loved hearing from families and schools joining in, and have rounded up some of the pictures that have been shared with us.

Thorntree Primary School in Glasgow worked out our Christmas Jumper Logic Puzzle and challenged themselves to the Bauble Hunt.

Crathie School in Aberdeenshire made our 3D Paper Baubles for their Christmas tree. We especially love how the P7s challenged themselves to take the activity further.

More 2D to 3D paper baubles from Clyde Primary School in Glasgow.

St Joseph's College Maths Club in Dumfries has been VERY busy, trying out various of our Christmas Countdown activities including the Festive Sudoku, Festive Bitmap Puzzles, Christmas Maze, Christmas Number Doodles, and Tongue Twisters Code Cracker!

Lorne Street Primary School have also been busy, sharing pictures of their Symmetrees and 3D Paper Baubles, and trying their hand at the Christmas Maze, Tongue Twisters Code Cracker, and Christmas Jumper Logic Puzzle.

Beancross Primary School in Grangemouth were measuring strips of paper to make our Christmas tree cards.

St Denis’ Primary School from Dennistoun had fun with our Christmas Number Doodles.

We were also delighted to see some of last year's Christmas Countdown activities making a reappearance, with Garnock Community Campus Maths Department making the Sierpinski Christmas Tree and Tessellation Christmas Tree:

If you want to do any of the activities over the school holidays, you can find them all on our Christmas Holiday Countdown page. And please keep sharing your photos too, and we'll update this post - you can tag us on Facebookor Twitter.
