Fraction Snowflakes

Best suited for: Early& First Level / Age 0-4, 5-7
Maths involved: fractions, symmetry
Materials needed:
- White paper
- Scissors
Instructions
A calming art puzzle activity. Cut out circles of different sizes from white paper, then cut some into halves, quarters and eighths. Use the circle fractions to lay out snowflake patterns.
Remember, snowflakes are symmetrical!
We used circles, but you could also use different shapes and cut those in to fractions. What shapes do you find work best?
