Children's Art Class: Symmetry Drawing

In celebration of Maths Week Scotland, the weekly children's art classes at The Wee Hub in Leith's Ocean Terminal (First Floor) will be focusing on maths themed art work on Wednesday 24, Friday 26 and Saturday 27 September.
24 September: Colour by Shapes
Children will be given art worksheets for colouring, where they will recognise different shapes and colour them according to the colours printed on shape.
26 September: Symmetry Drawing Activity
Children will learn to create symmetry with shapes, lines, and patterns to create symmetry, which can strengthen their skills in understanding and visualising symmetrical transformations.
27 September: Fun with Shapes Artwork
Children will use colourful cutouts of different shapes to create animals, flowers, houses and vehicles.
Location: The Wee Play Hub at Ocean Terminal (First Floor), Leith, Edinburgh
All sessions are free and drop-in, no need to pre book.
