Wild Maths Family Fun Day

Wild Maths Family Fun Day at Hawick Museum – Free and Drop-In!
On Saturday 27th September, join us for the Wild Maths Family Fun Day – a completely free, drop-in celebration packed with adventures for all ages. Families can get hands-on with activities like building animal dens, playing with clay, and even becoming a human sundial, while discovering how maths appears naturally in the world around us.
The day will also feature the launch of Explorer Backpacks, designed to help families explore Wilton Lodge Park and the museum in new and creative ways. Children can take home activity booklets and collect an Explorer Badge as keepsakes from their adventure.
Families can also join expert-led Wild Nature Adventures workshops at 11am to 12pm, 12.30pm to 1.30pm, and 2pm to 3pm. These special outdoor sessions are completely free, but spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Sign up via the link below.
