We’re very excited to announce our Countdown to the Christmas Holidays! With only three weeks to go until Scottish schools start their Christmas holidays, we'll be sharing seasonal maths inspired activities every day from 1 to 20 December 2022, to make the wait a little more fun.
We'll be sharing the activities every day on our social media channel every morning on Twitter and on Facebook, as well as here on the website. You can look forward to a mix of puzzles, art and crafts, games, and more.
The activities will be for a mix of ages and will be most suitable for Early Years to Lower Secondary School, though older children may also enjoy taking part.
You don’t need to be a scientist to take part in real research. Citizen science projects welcome people of all ages to help by counting, observing, measuring, and recording what they see around them. Here are a few inspiring ways you can get involved this year.
