Free Virtual Interactive Maths and Science Adventure
Celebrate Wild Maths and STEM with Paul Ian Cross, the author of SuperQuesters Mission: River Crest Rescue.
Join author Paul Ian Cross and the SuperQuesters for a fun-filled, immersive and wild online event. Focused on the Teach Primary Awards 2025 shortlisted chapter book, SuperQuesters Mission: River Crest Rescue (published by QuestFriendz), your pupils will be taken on an interactive adventure. They will use their maths and science skills to help the SuperQuesters on their mission to rescue the village of River Crest.
Age range: primary school (best suited for 5 - 10 year olds)
Duration: 45-60 minutes (starting from 9:30am UK time)
During the event:
- Meet the SuperQuesters and learn how all children can be SuperQuesters
- Enjoy a reading by Paul Ian Cross from his chapter book, SuperQuesters Mission: River Crest Rescue
- Your class will get to help the SuperQuesters by using their problem solving skills, maths and critical thinking to stop evil goblin gardener, Mortifer, from destroying River Crest.
- Question time with Paul – your class can ask him anything about being an author and a real-life scientist!
STEM learning is brought to life in this interactive adventure story and event.
Plus, a SuperQuesters and Maths Week Scotland contest will be launched during the event and children can learn how they can win SuperQuesters prizes.
