We've rounded up this year's Maths Week Scotland events for schools in a handy, day-by-day overview. The programme is a mix of mix of both online and in-person events. Most events take place during our gala week, 23 September to 27 September, but there are a few events that start earlier or take place later. We will be updating this overview as more events are confirmed, so do keep checking back!

1 September - 30 September: Maths Inside Scotland wide photography competition for all ages
2 September - 11 October: Maths Talesstory writing contest for Primary Schools in partnership with Read Write Count with The First Minister
16 September to 14 October: Maths Wi Nae Bordersmini-competition for any class to complete together (aimed at Secondary Schools but younger entrants welcome)
20 September to 26 September: Sumdogonline maths contest for schools
24 September to 26 September: Scotland Rocks times tables competition for schools
Maths Week Events
You can find all of our events listed in our online events calendar, but to help you with your planning we have pulled together an overview of daily highlights. We will be updating this, as new events come in, so please keep checking. Please note that many of our free events still require pre-booking, so please don't delay if you are interested in any of these.
We also have a varied programme of family events, which may be of interest to nursery groups, school classes, home learners, or that you may want to share with parents e.g. via a school newsletter for families to do together in their own time.

What's On All Year Round?
The following online and in-person events, workshops and activities are being offered throughout the year, as well as during Maths Week Scotland itself, and can be booked at various times to suit your school group.
We end the week on a high note, as the winning drawing from our competition earlier this year is brought to life and we reveal our final Finn Finity mathscot!
